Personalized Nursing LIGHT House (PNLH), a premier provider of behavioral health care since 1990, currently operates clinical service locations in Plymouth, Canton, and Madison Heights. Each site offers integrated services for individuals with substance use disorders (SUD) and co-occurring mental health conditions, using a trauma-informed and person-centered approach.
In addition to outpatient and residential care, PNLH provides fully furnished recovery housing in Westland, Canton, and Livonia to support individuals participating in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOPD) and Enhanced Outpatient Program with Domicile (EOPD). All PNLH offices and housing units are professionally maintained, meet local zoning and safety standards, and are routinely inspected to ensure a safe, structured, and healing environment for recovery.

Located in the heart of historic downtown Plymouth, this warm and welcoming site offers outpatient care for both men and women seeking long-term recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our Plymouth program combines compassionate clinical care with real-world life skills to help individuals thrive at every stage of their journey.
Clients benefit from a supportive, community-centered setting with access to both Intensive Outpatient (IOPD) and Enhanced Outpatient with Domicile (EOPD) services, including individual and group counseling, peer support, and case management.
Transportation
PNLH provides daily transportation between housing and the program site, along with additional support to attend community-based services and appointments.
Recovery Housing
Clients enrolled in outpatient programs have access to safe, fully furnished recovery housing that promotes healing, stability, and personal responsibility. Each residence is regularly visited by staff and maintained as a clean, respectful, and recovery-focused environment.

Located in a quiet, accessible area of western Wayne County, PNLH Canton offers a structured and empowering outpatient program for men facing substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. The Canton team provides personalized care in a supportive setting that fosters independence, self-awareness, and long-term success.
Clients participate in both Intensive Outpatient (IOPD) and Enhanced Outpatient with Domicile (EOPD) levels of care, supported by peer coaches, licensed counselors, and case managers dedicated to whole-person wellness.
Transportation
Daily transportation is provided for clients between their housing and the program site. Additional transportation is available to support access to community-based resources and services.
Recovery Housing
PNLH offers fully furnished, supportive recovery housing designed to meet the needs of individuals in outpatient care. Homes are safe, welcoming, and professionally maintained, offering a strong foundation for personal growth and long-term recovery.

Men’s Residential & Withdrawal Management, with Case Management, Counseling, Peer Coaching, Alumni Support
PNLH Madison Heights offers a welcoming and structured environment for adult men beginning their recovery journey. Located in a spacious and comfortable facility, this program provides both residential treatment and withdrawal management (detox) in a setting designed to support healing, safety, and hope.
Men receive 24/7 support from a compassionate team that includes medical staff, peer recovery coaches, case managers, and counselors. Services are tailored to help individuals stabilize, build coping skills, and prepare for the next step in their recovery journey.
Care & Living Environment
This 30-bed facility includes dedicated spaces for both short-term withdrawal support and longer-term residential care. The setting is intentionally designed to foster rest, structure, and personal growth—helping clients regain confidence and move forward with purpose.
Supportive Services
In addition to daily care and monitoring, clients participate in individual and group sessions, receive recovery coaching, and engage in personalized planning for life after treatment. The program proudly serves individuals referred from communities throughout Southeast Michigan.
