(IOPD, WSS, Case Management, Recovery Housing) PNLH’s program is strategically nestled in the popular town of Plymouth, in the western region of Wayne County. The office is located at 575 South Main Street, Suite 6, in the recently renovated downtown area. The office consists of approximately 6,000 sq. ft. of space in an attractive two-story brick building. A ramp is available from the parking lot and a handicapped accessible restroom is available on the first floor of the office. Individual counseling rooms and a group room are available and are accessible for persons with disabilities. Unfortunately, there is not public transportation in downtown Plymouth. Thus, PNLH offers complimentary shuttle service to and from this office upon admission and discharge. Moreover, PNLH does provide transportation to clients as needed to various supportive agencies (OHS office, prenatal care, Michigan Works). Daily transportation is provided to and from the office and their housing units to persons in our IOPD program.

Plymouth Client Apartments:
PNLH leases over a dozen separate two or three-bedroom apartments in Canton, approximately ten minutes from the program office as well as one house in Livonia. These living arrangements are spacious (averaging approximately 900 sq. ft.) and completely furnished, with all the necessary household items to take care of one’s self (e.g., pots, pans, linens, cleaning supplies, etc.). The apartments are divided between five different apartment complexes that operate on or near Ford Road and 1-275. These apartments are visited a several times each week to ensure that they are clean and that the healing environment is maintained. Furthermore, they are inspected periodically by the local fire department.

Our women’s specific withdrawal management (detox) & residential programs are located at our Dearborn Heights Location. The programs are housed in a 4,000 square foot building that previously was used as a convent for the church located next store. The building offers 10 bedrooms, 3 offices and several showers, restroom facilities. Given its design, it provides clients a very home like environment in a non-institutional setting. There is public transportation that runs on Inkster road. However, like all of our intensive levels of care, PNLH does offer complimentary shuttle service to and from this office upon admission and discharge.

PNLH created this women’s specific intensive outpatient program with domicile (IOPD) to serve the unique needs of the women we serve.  Specifically, the groups and individual sessions incorporate trauma into the daily curriculm.  Housing units are located within a few miles of the office in furnished apartment units.
