What Is Our Outpatient Program?

Personalized Nursing LIGHT House (PNLH) offers an Outpatient Program (OP) that provides ongoing, flexible support for individuals in recovery. This level of care is ideal for clients who have completed more intensive services or who need structured, part-time therapy as they continue to build stability in their lives.

Clients can participate in:

  • Weekly group therapy sessions
  • Individual counseling with a master’s-prepared therapist (at least once per week)
  • Peer recovery support and case management services, as needed

We understand that access can be a barrier, especially during difficult times. That’s why PNLH also offers phone-based sessions when video conferencing isn’t possible, ensuring consistent connection and care.

Our outpatient services are grounded in evidence-based practices and the LIGHT Model of care, promoting long-term wellness, personal growth, and recovery at every stage.

What Are Our Offices Like?

PNLH’s outpatient offices are designed to be welcoming, calming, and professional spaces where clients can focus on healing and personal growth. Each site features a combination of private therapist offices and group rooms, supporting both individualized care and a sense of community connection.

Our environments are clean, comfortable, and trauma-informed, intentionally created to reflect dignity, safety, and respect—core values that guide every part of the recovery journey.

What Should I Bring?

We want you to feel prepared and supported when you arrive for care. Here’s a list of helpful items to bring with you:

Recommended Items:

  • Picture ID (if you have one)
  • Insurance card, if applicable
  • Cell phone, tablet, or laptop (these are allowed at this level of care)
  • Most importantly, bring an honest, open, and willing attitude—this mindset helps you get the most out of treatment and builds a strong foundation for your recovery.

Please Do Not Bring (Prohibited Items):

To keep everyone safe and comfortable, we ask that you leave the following items at home:

  • Alcohol, illegal drugs, or non-prescribed medications
  • Any drug or alcohol paraphernalia
  • Strong perfumes or colognes
  • Revealing clothing or clothing with drug/alcohol graphics
  • Weapons of any kind (including guns, knives, fireworks, or items that may be used as weapons)
What Is the Length of Stay?

The length of your stay in the program is personalized to fit your needs. It’s a collaborative decision made by you, your treatment team, and your funding provider.

While some clients complete their program in as little as 3 months, others benefit from staying up to 12 months or longer. The goal is to support your progress at a pace that’s right for you.

Throughout your journey, PNLH offers flexible services like Case Management and Peer Recovery Coaching, which are available as needed across all levels of care to support lasting recovery.

Where Do I Go From Here?

Recovery is a journey, and PNLH is here to walk with you every step of the way. After completing your current level of care, you may choose to continue with additional services that support your progress and meet your evolving needs.

Many clients move through the following path within PNLH’s Continuum of Care:

→ Withdrawal Management (Detox)

→ Residential Treatment

→ Intensive Outpatient with Domicile (IOPD)

→ Outpatient (OP) or Daytime Outpatient (DOP)

→ Recovery Housing with supportive services

At each stage, services are adapted to your goals, strengths, and readiness for independence—so you never have to start over, just keep moving forward.
